USE OF PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES

As an Arts College, Cockburn attracts considerable attention from the media.

Many students are involved in performances and exhibitions both in and out of school. The school has a high profile in the community and we receive many requests from the press and other media for articles and pictures to be published/ broadcast. In order to avoid seeking your permission on each separate occasion, we are making you aware of the likelihood of your child’s image appearing at some point either in school publications, on the school website or in local and national press and television.

If you are happy for this to happen you need take no action. If, however, you do not want your child to be photographed or filmed, please contact Mr A M Smith, Assistant Headteacher, in writing.
